Accessibility Coordinator in the Municipality of Radom
In the City Hall of Radom, by virtue of the Ordinance of the Mayor of the City of Radom No. 2867/2021 dated October 1, 2021, a Working Team for Architectural, Digital and ICT Accessibility was established with the following composition:
1) Chairperson of the Team – Accessibility Coordinator – Ms Dorota Banaszkiewicz
2) Vice-Chairman – Mr Jan Gniadek
3) Member of the Team – Mr Rafał Kościuk
4) Team Member – Mr Karol Mostowski.
The responsibilities of the Accessibility Coordinator and the work team include:
1) Conduct an inventory of building facilities and determine the minimum requirements of the Authority’s facilities to ensure accessibility;
2) supporting people with special needs in accessing services provided by the City Hall in Radom;
3) Prepare and coordinate the implementation of an action plan to improve the provision of accessibility to persons with special needs by the Radom City Hall, in accordance with the requirements set forth in Article 6 of the Act of 19. 07. 2019 on the provision of accessibility to persons with special needs;
4) monitoring the activities undertaken by the Municipal Office in Radom in terms of ensuring accessibility for people with special needs.
